Aftercare Guidlines
To ensure optimal results and healing, please follow the guidelines below.
First 48 Hours
Do not remove or touch the plaster/bandage this helps reduce infection risk and allows initial swelling to settle.
Avoid any contact, pressure, or friction in the area.
No sexual activity for 2 weeks
Avoid hot baths, saunas, or intense exercise.
After 48 hours you may remove the plaster and clean the area with mild soap and water.
Begin massage three times per day to help evenly distribute the filler and maintain smoothness.
Massage Technique
Wash your hands thoroughly before starting and apply a small amount of unscented lubricant or light moisturiser.
Using your thumb and forefinger, roll and smooth the filler along the shaft (ideally in a semi erect state) applying pressure as needed.
Focus on any areas that feel firm or uneven, massage in the forward and backwards direction. Repeat for around 1 minute per session, 3 times per day for the first two weeks.
The filler settles in different stages so minor asymmetry or firmness may occur temporarily during this period.
Please allow 4 weeks for it to fully settle.
Support
Around 10–15% of patients may experience some minor uneven settling as the filler heals. The massage phase is particularly important, and some patients are naturally more diligent with this than others. The good news is that hyaluronic acid is fully mouldable and adjustable, which is why we include a follow adjustment if needed in the price.
If there are any areas that need refining once everything has settled, Dr. Qureshi can make adjustments at no additional cost.
